Julie Wilkinson

Labour Party Candidate for Marsh and Micklefield

I have proudly called High Wycombe home since 1989, raising my family here and dedicating my career to education as a teacher and school governor. With my two children attending local state schools—Sir William Ramsay and Wycombe High—I have first-hand experience of the challenges facing families, from the quality of education to ensuring safer roads and stronger community support.

My commitment to public services runs deep. My family’s strong ties to the NHS — through my daughter’s work as a physiotherapist, my husband’s service as a paramedic, and my own advocacy for my elderly mother—have given me a deep appreciation of the pressures on our healthcare system. I know how vital it is to protect and improve local health services, and as your councillor, I will fight to ensure residents get the support they deserve.

I am also passionate about preserving our cherished green spaces. As a keen walker in our beautiful local woods, I understand the importance of maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for everyone. I will work closely with the community to tackle littering and promote local initiatives that enhance our surroundings.

Above all, I believe in listening to residents and acting on their concerns. As your Labour councillor, I will stand up for local families, push for better public services, and work tirelessly to make Marsh and Micklefield an even better place to live.
