Emma Reynolds is Wycombe Labour’s Prospective Parliamentary Candidate

Emma Reynolds has been chosen as the Labour candidate to go up against Steve Baker at the next election. In a packed hustings on Saturday 19th November, she beat three other excellent candidates – Tom Rutland, David Taylor and Parmjit Dhanda – to win the support of the membership. Formerly MP For Wolverhampton North East from 2010 to 2019, before moving to Holmer Green, she brings a wealth of political experience and great contacts.

Emma says: “I am absolutely delighted to be chosen by you to be your prospective parliamentary candidate. The turnout and the energy at the hustings was phenomenal. I very much look forward to harnessing that enthusiasm and working with you to defeat Steve Baker and win Wycombe back for Labour for the first time for over 70 years. I am confident but not complacent about the task at hand. We need to organise the most sophisticated campaign on the ground and online.

“We will be organising a number of ‘Meet the candidate’ events so that I can get to know members better and also to find out what you’d like to do to help in the campaign. We’re also hoping to secure a high profile Labour MP to come to speak at a local fundraiser in the new year. Huge thanks again for all your support.”
